Even though I have tons and tons of makeup, I still have an everyday makeup bag. I use this on days when I just do not want to take the time to pick out each individual product or shade. This little bag has saved me many times when I need to get glam in a rush. I still keep all the essentials in there, however there’s one or two shades of each, as opposed to 60! It makes my life much easier.
So, you may be wondering “well what’s in the bag?”
This is what’s in my little bag of everyday goodies, and some of my favourite products of all time I might add. If I want to use a product in which I need to know it will stand the test of time, I pull from this bag.
Let’s start with primer. I am a die hard Hourglass Veil primer. No matter how many primers I try, and I have tried a lot, this always seems to resurface to the top. My foundation is Estée Lauder double wear in shade Shell Beige. Kat Von D shade and light contour pallet is one of my all time favourites so I keep that close. Concealer is hands down Tarte Cosmetics Shape Tape. This is a ride or die product for me. Setting powder is Hourglass as well. It’s one of the best I have used. Brows-clearly I’m a benefit brow gal. I use the precision pencil as well as the foolproof brow powder. I keep a few eyeliners in this bag as well. Some pencil liners as well as liquid liners. Stila has one of my favourite liquid liners. Urban decay wins for the pencil liner. For my lashes I use Eyenvy as a conditioner, and TOO FACED Better than sex mascara or Benefit They’re real. I generally use a bronzer. TOO FACED made the cut for the bag. I generally switch my blush out every now and again. Right now I have MAC and Physicians Formula in there. Lip colours are changed out quite frequently as well. I usually wear a soft pink or a nude shade. My setting spray is MAC fix+. It is so versatile as I can dampen my brushes with this when needed also.
And there you have it. My everyday essentials. It’s like my own little first aid kit of makeup.
Thank you for taking the time to read through. What’s in your everyday makeup bag?
Until next time…
