Cruelty-Free Makeup Brands To Add To Your Collection

Cruelty-Free Makeup Brands:

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) defines cosmetics as “articles intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness or altering the appearance without affecting the body’s structure or functions.” Examples include skin cream, perfume, lipstick, nail polish, eye and facial makeup, shampoo and hair colour. – humanesociety.org

Cruelty-free is a label for products that do not harm or kill animals anywhere in the world. Products tested on animals are not considered cruelty-free since these tests are often painful and cause the suffering and death of millions of animals every year.

In a beautiful world, all products being created would be cruelty-free. However, that is not the world we live in. The amount of products that still get animal testing is actually mind-blowing. Beauty should not come at the cost of harming animals or any other living creature.

“Several cosmetic tests commonly performed on mice, rats, rabbits, and guinea pigs include skin and eye irritation tests where chemicals are rubbed on shaved skin or dripped into the eyes without any pain relief.” – www.dosomething.org

PLEASE SHOP CRUELTY-FREE for the sake of the animals.
